The Sardinian and the Convict’s Daughter

Recently I decided to take a break from writing about George Masters Brain to finish another story I had been researching for about the last ten years. This is it – a story  about an immigrant Sardinian/Italian gold miner and his wife, the daughter of a convict and her parents. I think the ancestors in this story emphasise the incredible diversity of not just our family but Australians in general. Perhaps thats why this country is such a great place to live.

I hope you enjoy the story; it is about 1.26 MB and can be accessed on the link below. I will continue to add to it over time as my readings, particularly on Victorian history, often unveil something that adds some colour. If anyone has any information to add, I would love to hear from you.
